You know how it goes - "There's no place like home." While I feel like I'm really settling into life in Myrtle Beach, I definitely still miss everyone back in Pittsburgh. The hardest part about moving here for me has been leaving my sister behind. We still talk all the time, but it's just not the same when you can't see your best friend whenever you want. I haven't seen her for like two months and I miss her like crazy!
That's why I'm soooo excited to go home this weekend. For the past two weeks she as been text messaging me with a countdown to my trip and plans for us while I'm home. Between family dinners, soccer games, and some shopping it looks like it's going to be a pretty busy three days. I can't wait to head home, so hopefully some busy days in the newsroom will help the next few days fly by!
