It's good to be back! I decided to take last Thursday and Friday off to visit Washington DC, and I had a great time! My favorite part was the beautiful deep blue sky, sunshine, and colorful leaves combined with all the Washington monuments and memorials! I couldn't have picked a better weekend, weather wise, for visiting. (Which I guess is a perk for being a Meteorologist.... vacation forecasting!)
The good news is... all that nice weather in DC was controlled by the same high pressure that will control our weather all week! The high will actually drop further south today and tomorrow, allowing us to sample some unseasonably warm weather!
These are the days I like to take credit for... sunny and nice! Enjoy!
