On rainy days like today, I'm usually at home (after work of course) in my sweatshirt listening to music while cooking. I love to gather all types of music together and put them on CDs for me to listen to while at home and in the car. One of my recent creations.... a CD about weather! It's a CD entirely made of artists who use weather in their song... like sunshine, rain, snow, tornado... etc. (And yes I even put the songs in order by seasons...starting with Winter. I can't help it, I'm a weather nerd!)
Some of my favorites include:
"Stormy Weather" - by Etta James, "Texas Tornado" - by Tracy Lawrence, "Good Day Sunshine" - by the Beatles, and "Baby it's Cold Outside" - by Bing Crosby and Doris Day
But those are just a few. I'm thinking about make a sequel CD... What are you favorite weather songs? I'd love to hear! ..Based on today's weather, if I had to pick a song... I'd go with Milli Vanilli's "Blame it on the Rain"
